Fractions on a Number Line 3rd Grade Activities

Have you noticed that your third graders have a hard time with fractions on a number line? Yes, factions on a number line is a difficult concept for some 3rd graders to master, but not impossible. Sometimes students just need more time on CCSS 3.NF.A.2.

Most of the time, the fraction questions types on a standardized test have to do with how well students can find the solution. So, it is a good idea to give third grade students an opportunity to work on the different types of number line questions.

I have created 28 slides to help third graders review the different question types they may encounter on a Standardized or School District Test.

There are so many ways to use these slides. You can project them on the whiteboard and have a discussion about how you could solve them. You can use one problem a day.

You can decide to assign 1-2 questions to your students in google classroom or upload the questions to seesaw, or you can upload them to Nearpod. You might just want to print them out and assign them as review questions.
